September Favourites!

Hi guys, this is my first monthly favourites post! I'm not sure if I'll be doing these kinds of posts every month, but only if there really has been things that I want to rave about. So here we go, let's start!

This is my first favourite, its the Tangle Teezer! I'd heard a lot of people raving about this, on youtube, and just generally friends and family that also have one so I decided to buy one. I was not dissapointed!  itreally is a great hairbrush, in fact, probably the best one ive ever used! It doesnt tug or pull on your hair whilst brushing, and doesn't break your hair as much as a normal hairbrush. I loved this one so much that i'm thinking about getting one of their compact stylers to put in my bag for travel.

Next is the 'Mua Colour blast eyeshadow tint' in the shade 'stay'. These eyeshadow tints kind of remind me of a dupe for the clinique  chubby sticks for eyes. I picked this one up because I wanted a base colour for my eyes that i could use with lots of different makeup looks and this works really well, it just adds a subtle shimmer. I also think this would be good to line your waterline to make you look more awake. I've done a swatch, but it really is quite buildable from a sheer wash of colour to a more noticeable shimmer, depending on how you want it.

I was watching one of @velvetgh0st's videos, when she mentioned Maybelline's dream lumi touch highlighting concealer. Previously, I'd looked into buying touche eclat, from YSL but thought it was too expensive, so i was surprised when I found out about this little gem! its great for use under your eyes, or your brow bone to highlight specific areas. I'd definitely reccomend this if you want a highlighter but don't want to pay the full price for touche eclat.

I bought these two products, lush's 'Breath of Fresh air ' and 'Grease Lightning' , after hearing good reviews about Lush's toner waters, and spot treatment. Everyone always raves about Lush's tea tree toner water, but I talked to one of the  employees in the store and she said that Tea tree toner water was best for slightly oilier skins, and eau roma water best for dry skins, so i went for Breath of Fresh Air which is between the two. I love the fact that it smells like a sea breeze, as it reminds me of holidays and summer. I feel it really tones my face well, without stinging my skin. it also comes in a handy spritzer bottle which would prbably be great for summer as a refreshing spritz throughout the day. Grease lightning has to be the best spot treatment i've tried. Its a clear gel which is really soothing when applied to blemishes, and it really does have an effect at reducing spots, and getting them to go sooner.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows about this mascara. I got this sample size in a copy of Elle a couple of months ago, but I've just run out of My maybelline collossal, so ive been using this. I'll probably do a separat review, but for know i'll just say that it adds so much volume and length to your lashes- wow! I really need to get a larger size of this, it might possibly be- dare i say it- my favourite mascara!

Thankyou for reading everyone, be sure to share your favourites in the comments, if you also write a blog I'd be happy to check it out, leave a link below too :)

  1. Oo have you tried any other MUA products? I've been wanting to try them for ages but I never get round to buying them

  2. I've tried their lipsticks which are really lovely, very pigmented and creamy- and they're only £1 each :) you do need to re-apply but what do you really expect with a £1 lipstick.

I think the mosaic bronzer is supposed to be good, they do it in pink tones for paler skin and brown tones for darker skin, both look lovely. :)
